Freezer Cooking Demystified - Ask Your Questions

I got an e-mail from a reader asking for more details about freezer cooking. She said she would like to start freezing meals but did not really know where to start. She was also concerned about the taste of the meals after they came out of the freezer.

My love of freezer cooking built slowly. The first few months I really did not like doing it, but over time, I have come to really appreciate it.

However, the reader's question got me thinking. Do you have a question about freezer cooking? Do you have a concern? Are you thinking you would like to start but don't really know how?

If so, please either leave me a comment or e-mail me. (You can find my e-mail on my profile page.) I would love to write a post or two demystifying freezer cooking.

I've not had success in lining a 9x13 pan and removing the casserole to freeze separately. It has always seeped out of the lining and frozen to the dish, or else the lining somehow freezes into the food. Either way I have to partially defrost it to remove it from the dish or lining. What am I doing wrong?

I would love to know some simple but delicious meals for freezer cooking. I'm a newlywed and its just my husband and I but some days we don't feel like cooking. I would love to have some good freezer meals for when those days occur.

Are these "Freezer cooking" meals ones that go straight from freezer to oven, or do you thaw them?
Also, could you maybe post a section where you do a recipe with step by step so we can learn to do it, with a cost break down? If that is too much to ask, I understand!
