My husband and I like to cook. Until I started once a month freezer cooking, having one fry pan, two small sauce pans, a large soup pan and two muffin tins seemed like enough. I now know, after several freezer cooking bouts, it is not enough. (See the results of my most recent freezer cooking bout here.) I waste a lot of my freezer cooking day stopping to wash dishes so I can start on the next meal.
CSNstores.com, an online company that offers everything from lighting to kids toys and furniture to cookware, contacted me recently and offered to give me $40 gift certificate. Immediately I thought of the cookware I would like. Freezing breakfast meals, especially pancakes and French toast, went over great last month, so my husband and I had talked about investing in a skillet. We will are thinking of trying the Rachael Ray Porcelain Enamel Double Burner Griddle or the Presto 20” Cool Touch Electric Griddle
Does anyone have advice about this? Is a double burner griddle better than an electronic stand alone griddle or vice versa?

I'm not sure about all the different kinds of griddles. :) my mom bought me one (at my request) for christmas. it's just a simple griddle and i love it. i use it at least 5 times a week. i think it was only like $20 at kohls but it is amazing!! good luck!
I actually own the Presto and LOVE it. It has it's very own hook on the wall in our pantry where I keep it for easy access.
I recently saw the two burner Rachel Ray griddle at our local Ollie's (a discount salvage store) and considered getting it for a brief moment. My concern was whether or not the heating would be even with the two burner griddle. For now I'll just stick with the Presto. :-)
I love my electric grill/griddle. We use it all the time. I'm not sure what brand mine is but I would suggest to purchase a stand alone rather than a two burner.
