1.5 lbs. hamburger
1 clove garlic, minced
2 loaves French bread, split down the center, each half cut into 4 portions (16 portions total)
1 - 8 oz. jar processed cheese spread
4 oz. mushrooms
½ green pepper
1 - 8 oz. can tomato sauce
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

In skillet, cook beef until no longer pink. Drain. Stir in garlic.
Place each bread on a heavy duty foil piece. This will be used to wrap after assembling.
Spread bread with cheese sauce. Top with beef mix, mushrooms, green peppers. Drizzle with pizza sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese.
Wrap and freeze up to 3 months.
To Bake: Unwrap loaves and place on baking sheet at 350 for 25 minutes.

These look great! We love Pizza around here. We could almost eat it everyday!
Is there something that could be substituted for the cheese spread - my son is alergic to food that has artificial colors, flavors or preservatives in it?

I would think that you could use regular cheese in place of the cheese spread. As far as I can tell, the cheese spread seems to be used to keep the wet sauce from making the bread soggy.
my husband bought sub rolls the other day and i had no idea what to do with them. i think i may use them to make pizza rolls
