Grocery Shopping Sunday, Late Edition, 7/27/09

It is blueberry season here, and that means lots of blueberries to stock the freezer for the winter! There are also some road trip items for our upcoming vacation.


Food4Less:


2 cans Manwich = 1.98
2 pkgs cookies = 5.00
1 pkg. Goldfish = 2.19
1 bag cheetos = 1.69
1 container cottage cheese = 1.00
1 bag carrots = 1.00
6 apples = 4.98
1 pkg paper plates = .79
Total = 19.72

Blueberry Farm:

10 lbs. blueberries = 25.00 (this is probably a bit expensive, but as we were travelling, we didn't have time to pick them ourselves, and they are so yummy!)

Dominicks:

1 carton ice cream = 2.99 - 1.00 Q = 1.99
1 loaf cinnamon bread = 2.29
2 pkgs lunch meat, B1G1 = 2.69
5 nectarines = 4.72 (ouch! DH picked the wrong ones that weren't on sale)
1 cantaloupe = 2.49 - 1.50 Q = .99
1 green pepper = .99
12 pints blueberries = 11.88
Total = 26.12

Grand Total = 70.84 + 15.60 CVS trip = 86.44

Those blueberries look so yummy :) I think my 4-year-old could eat her weight in them, lol

yummy blueberries! I am the only one that will eat fresh blueberries at my house so I freeze them and put them in pancakes and muffins. Also, thanks for the reminder, I have some pints in my fridge that I need to get in the freezer before they go bad! :)
