Lighter Meatloaf

You may have noticed that on my weekly meal plan, we frequently eat Lighter Meatloaf. I found the recipe on recipezaar, and I follow it exactly. I love this recipe! I always liked meatloaf, but sometimes it can be greasy, and I am not a big fan of the ketchup on top.

This meatloaf is moist and does not have ketchup! My 18 month old daughter loves it, and it freezes beautifully. I always make a double batch and put one loaf in the freezer for later.

I shared this post at The Grocery Cart Challenge, $5 Dinners, Life as Mom and Tempt My Tummy Tuesday.

That is one very healthy meatloaf especially with the oats. Sounds delicious too!

I'm not a fan of meatloaf but my husband is - maybe I'll make this as a surprise. I'd love another freezer-friendly meal, too!

Thanks for the recipe link.
I have never heard of recipezaar.
It's now in my blogroll.

I'm not a huge fan of the ketchup on top either (though I really love ketchup on other things- go figure!)... I like the idea of mixing the meats together. I once had an all ground turkey meatloaf and it just didn't have enough texture... but this could work! Thanks for sharing.
